Started with a frustration. Turned into four platforms.
We kept meeting the same situation: a serious business — a freight forwarder, a pharmacy, a savings co-operative, a clinic — running on spreadsheets, paper books and message threads, because the software available to them was either built for a very different kind of company or priced for one.
The enterprise options assumed constant connectivity, a dedicated IT department and a support desk several time zones away. The cheap options were often abandoned a year after launch. Neither was good enough for businesses carrying real money, real cargo and real patients.
So we built our own. CargoVane came from watching clearing agents rebuild the same shipment file four times over. PosVane came from a shop that lost a full day of sales to a network outage. Biika came from a savings co-operative reconciling its books by hand. ProClinic HMS came from a clinic writing off claims it had no way to track. Every one started as a real problem in front of us.
